Virtual Power Meal: Evolution of Personal Tech and Data Management

A Power Meal is an hour to gather over food and have thoughtful conversation with other community members.

Join our host Norh Asmare for a small online group discussion over lunch, guided by the following three questions:

  1. What are some of the different ways our health and fitness data are being used?

  2. Do you think there will be more uses for our health and fitness data as a result of the coronavirus?

  3. Would you allow tech companies to share and use your personal health and fitness data with national health authorities?

Limited seats available.

RSVP now to claim your invitation - only up to eight invites can be claimed.

You will receive a calendar invite that includes the video conference link to join.

About the host:

Norh is currently in the M.S.E.E thesis program at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. He received his B.S.E in Electrical Engineering from Suffolk University in 2014. After graduation, he worked at a Boston-based wearable fitness device startup named WHOOP as a Digital Signal Processing / Firmware Engineer. He is very interested in working in the intersection between electrical devices + systems and biological environments; ranging from micro/nano device design to writing software that runs on said devices. Outside of school, Norh enjoys live music, food festivals, scenic spots and the old Kanye.
